The Dark Forest is a conversation game where the players play extraterrestrial civilizations, scattered throughout the universe. The resources of their home planets are slowly dwindling, and in order to survive, the players must decide whether to hide or call for help, to deceive or cooperate.

Deep within the dark expanse,
weak and brilliant hearts take cover.
And in that dark, the shadows dance;
frightened, raging, hungry lovers
